Strategic Quality Management (SQM) is a structured process for establishing long-range quality goals, at the highest levels of organization, and defining the means to be used to reach those goals.
策略性品質經營乃一結構化的流程﹐在高階層內藉建立組織長程之品質目標﹐並定義達成目標之各項資源。
通常﹐SQM 始於高階層品質委員會之組成﹐藉此展開組織之策略性品質經營。
品質委員會之職責:
1. 訂定公司的品質政策(Quality Policy)
2. 訂定公司的年度品質目標(Quality Goals)
3. 創造利於品質政策並能達成品質目標的環境與組織
